HIPS
A Home Information Pack (HIP) contains important information about a property, which is aimed at speeding up the buying & selling process in England & Wales.
Jarlands Estates agent will be happy to arrange your HIP when you instruct us to sell your property and offer guidance and advice throughout the process.
Certain information must be included within the HIP prior to marketing the property as follows:
- Index of Contents
- Property information questionaire (PIQ)
- Energy performance certificate (EPC)
- Sale Statement
- Evidence of title
Information that must be ordered and added to the HIP within 28 of marketing the property as follows:
- Local-authority searches
- Water and drainage searches
- Leasehold or commonhold documents (where appropriate)
Optional documents you can choose to add that can aid or speed up the selling process iclude:
- Home Condition Report (HCR)
- Legal summary
- Non standard searches
- Guarantees & warranties in relation to work completed on the property
- Home use & contents forms
